Sewage Treatment Plant at Khasab, oman
Project Description

NESPAK remained busy in supervising the sewerage network and sewage treatment plants (STP) at Khasab, Duqum and Misfat Al Abrean, Oman. Major components of the project at Khasab included laying of gravity sewers along with house connections, three pump stations, three lift stations, force mains and a 1,700 cu.m/day packaged sewage treatment plant based on activated sludge technology. The project cost is R.O 12.6 million (US$ 32.76 million).

The STP at Duqum has a capacity of 2000 cu.m/day and it is based on Sequencing Bach Reactor technology and the plant comprises oil water separation, grit removal, biological treatment, sludge removal and handling, filtration and disinfection. The project cost is R.O 1.4 million (US$ 3.64 million).

The sewerage network and sewage treatment plant at Misfat Al Abrean was also designed by NESPAK. Major components of the project included laying of gravity sewers along with house connections, two lift stations, force main and a 200 cu.m/day packaged sewage treatment plant based on Moving Bed Bio-Reactor technology. The project cost is R.O 1.0 million (US$ 2.6 million).

NESPAK has completed the design stage of the sewerage network and sewage treatment plant at Musannah, Oman. The project has been tendered and shall enter the construction stage soon. The estimated project cost is R.O 4.8 million (US$ 12.48 million). The major components of the project include gravity sewers along with house connections, one pump station, one lift station, force main and design of 4,000 cu.m/day sewage treatment plant.
