The Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department has engaged NESPAK for the design and construction supervision of Bulk Water Supply from River Jhelum to Murree and New Murree Project. The project comprises construction of the intake structure, treatment plant, staff quarters, pump stations, water storage reservoirs, access road, laying of water transmission lines and power transmission system. Work is in progress on the intake structure, treatment plant, main pump stations, access road and cement mortar lining of pipes. The cost of this project is Rs.4.4 billion.
